The Nigerian Canadian Baptist Church of Toronto (NCBC) is a Church that is open to all children of God and to all seekers of the truth. The Bible says, "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" (Ephesians 4:4-6). This Body of Christ is only denominational by name, however, we are interdenominational in our doctrine, belief and practice. In light of that, our door is wide open to all people regardless of their nationality or religious affiliation. We know that Jesus, the Owner of the Church transcends denominations - as He knows no denominations, so we do not either. Put in a French term, “nous sommes sans frontiers” meaning, we are without boundary, we are non-discriminatory, we welcome everyone regardless of his or her language, nationality, age, gender, race, colour or denominational attachment. Prophet Isaiah (as quoted by Jesus Christ Himself) says, ".... for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people" (Isaiah 56:7) this is our stance.

In a nutshell, Jesus is central in our message; we focus mainly on salvation, life eternal - which is contingent upon Jesus' self-sacrifice on the cross. We can categorically say like Paul the Apostle that we preach “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified” (I Corinthians 2:2). The Word of God says, "Taste and see that the LORD is good;..." (Psalm 34:8). Therefore, come and join us for a worship service to experience a taste of the Lord's goodness.
